KTRH-Houston Traffic Court.wmv

Nick Cooper’s saga began in March 2007, when he was pulled over for turning the wrong way down a one way street. His case was finally dismissed minutes before this press conference on August 23, 2010. He admits most people would not have gone what he went through to fight a $200 ticket. Cooper’s attorney calls it an undue burden on residents who challenge traffic tickets. Randall Kallinen urges residents not to give up on seeking their ‘day in court’ — adding Cooper’s persistance led to a dismissal. Kallinen also suggests Houstonians petition the city officials to change the policy to allow just one recess. He says that would avoid multiple trips back to the courthouse.

Flights to Pakistan from America

The United States of America happens to be the biggest trading partner that Pakistan has seen to date as it contributes more than 33% of its entire export every year. The United States of America also happens to be home to more than 1.2 million Pakistanis who mostly live in primary metropolitan cities such as Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Houston, San Francisco, Austin and Dallas. Such a deep relationship has ended up in an increase in passenger traffic from one of these countries to the next. In order to cater to such traffic, primary airlines like PIA have announced flights to Pakistan along with Emirates Airlines, Qatar Airways, Etihad Airways and Turkish Airlines, although Pakistan International Airlines still offers the best deals to their country.

The majority of passengers who look for airline tickets and flights to Pakistan tend to depend on their travel agents who can arrange these tickets for them. The primary reason behind this would probably be the overall complexity that comes with transit rules for the people who hold passports for Pakistan. The United Kingdom has recently announced that every Pakistani who wants to transit through London would require a transit visa before getting the chance to board either from Pakistan or from the United States of America onto flights to Pakistan. The sole relaxation would be for these people that have gotten green cards within the past five years. These travel agents also happen to be very useful when it comes to amending any itineraries and deal with fast refund whenever needed by their passengers.

After PIA closed its flights to Pakistan from Houston and Chicago, they ended up losing a lost of its overall traffic. On the flip side, Emirates Airlines ended up expanding its overall network in the United States of America by announcing flights that were direct to Dubai from Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco and Houston. Qatar Airways has recently received the long range aircraft of Boeing 777 and has also announced several flights to Pakistan from Houston and Washington and even New York. Even Etihad Airways is starting to compete with PIA and other rival airlines as they announce deep discounts on their fares from flights to Pakistan out of New York.

Most Pakistanis, however, seem to prefer to fly with PIA due to its friendly staff in-flight along with the foods that are available during every flight. PIA also provides a wide array of flight entertainment during their flights to Pakistan, which could range from Pakistani music to dramas and movies.

The overall Pakistani situation of law and order within their country adversely affects their overall traffic growth; however, Pakistani immigrants still remain eager to take flights to Pakistan in order to take trips that return home, so they can meet up with the people that they love. Travel agents within New York, Houston, Los Angeles and Chicago provide great service to help out in this department. A lot of leading agencies now provide websites to their customers along with various centers of customer service in Karachi so they can help out their clients whenever they need help and whenever they can.
